About
About Get In Expat
Get In Expat was founded by two foreigners in Germany from two different countries, Karla and Tarik , each with different cultures, language and education. They arrived in Frankfurt within the same summer, and after a long talk they came to the conclusion that it is worth making moves with a step forward, with a social impact, and by building a solidarity chain.
They created Get In Expat because they identify themselves as “newcomers” (expats, foreigners, migrants). Their lives brought them to relocate between Chile, Mexico, USA, Morocco, France and Germany. This shared background and similarities in their experiences convinced the two that there is a lot to be done on that topic!
A country move implies many challenges, exciting moments, and at the same time, exhaustion and frustration. There is so much to plan and do before, during and after. So they understand you perfectly, because they felt like you do, planning the actual move but also the mixed feelings of leaving for a country as a foreigner and sometimes without the language or culture skills.
They are here to support YOUR new start in Germany. They want your experience to feel accompanied, with the security and serenity that they offer you in your new beginning.
