Trip Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival – Welcome to Panama City
Welcome to Panama! Guests will be greeted at the airport and transferred to our hotel in the heart of Panama City. After settling in, everyone will meet for a complimentary welcome dinner at 7 p.m., a great opportunity to connect, share first impressions, and prepare for the adventure ahead.
Day 2 – Discover Panama City
Panama City is the vibrant capital of the country - modern, fast-growing, and rich in history. We’ll explore the city’s most popular neighborhoods and see local homes and rentals firsthand. After lunch and a short rest, we’ll enjoy a guided walking tour through Casco Viejo, the city’s colorful colonial district, finishing the evening with a rooftop sunset dinner overlooking the Pacific skyline
Day 3 – Understand the Move
Get ready to learn! Today you will become oriented to the how's of moving to Panama with a seminar led by local professionals covering immigration, real estate, banking, and more!
Day 4 – From City Life to the Coast
After breakfast, we’ll visit a local private hospital and pharmacy to learn about Panama’s healthcare system and insurance options, an essential part of relocation planning. Next, we’ll enjoy a scenic coastal drive to Coronado, Panama’s most established beach community.
Day 5 – Exploring Coronado & Coastal Towns
We'll tour Coronado and nearby beach areas, visiting rentals and homes for sale to get a feel for expat living on the Pacific coast.
Day 6 – Journey to the Highlands
After breakfast, we’ll journey inland through Panama’s lush countryside toward the highlands of Chiriquí Province. Along the way, we’ll pass through David, Panama’s second-largest city and the main commercial hub of the west, a great place to see the conveniences, healthcare, and infrastructure that support life in this region. By early afternoon, we’ll arrive in Boquete, the country’s most beloved mountain town. Spend the afternoon exploring the town center, enjoying local cafés, shops, and markets, and finish the day with dinner alongside members of Boquete’s thriving expat community.
Day 7 – Boquete Living
Spend the day discovering why Boquete is one of Panama’s most popular relocation destinations. We’ll tour neighborhoods such as Alto Boquete and Volcán, visit rental and real-estate options, and learn about life in the Chiriquí Province. Guests will also visit a coffee or chocolate farm, stroll through the local artisan market, and wrap up the experience with a farewell dinner in Boquete.
Day 8 – Departure via David
After breakfast, we’ll drive to David to catch a short domestic flight back to Panama City. This marks the end of our scouting journey, leaving you with a true understanding of Panama’s diverse regions, lifestyle options, and opportunities. Not ready to leave? Talk to your host about extending your trip to Bocas del Toro, one of the most famous and beautiful archipielagos on the Carribbean coast. Home to many locals and expats. Just 4 hours from Boquete.
