Michelle is a native to the West Coast and has lived a majority of her life in the Pacific Northwest. She’s traveled all over North America, but it wasn’t until she traveled to Europe that she realized where she needed to move for the first phase in her expat life.
She spent 14 days traveling around the Netherlands and naturally loved it. The country matched Michelle’s Pacific Northwest home in terms of tech opportunities, cooler climate, and protection of LGBTQ+ rights. She found this to feel like home and decided that the Netherlands will be the start, making the transition in Fall 2024. Expatsi invited Michelle to join our network of consultants and help other expats determine whether the same path might work for them.
