Amber for Black Americans

Amber C. Edwards was always fascinated by the dream of living in a foreign country. Career opportunities carried her overseas to Qatar for a time, followed by years in her ancestral home of Antigua and Barbuda before moving to Mexico City. Along the way, she faced many of the same challenges as other expats, like finding the right country, moving her belongings, and maintaining ties to loved ones back in the U.S.

Amber used her knowledge from living abroad to become a leader in the online #Blaxit movement, which formed around helping Black Americans to transition out of the U.S. This wealth of experience helped her to guide clients in finding safe cities abroad, establishing their own Black expat communities, and integrating with their new home cultures. She also created her own network of Black expats around her current hometown of Mexico City, allowing a variety of people to recreate that sense of home, abroad.

During your one-hour relocation consultation, Amber will assess your emigration goals in order to get a full understanding of your needs as a future expat. Ask her anything about moving to and living in another country, including how to find your best city and meet fellow immigrants. Amber leads you in facing those roadblocks in your journey, making sure that you can also live overseas with ease.
