United Arab Emirates

Why UAE?

For a country founded just over 50 years ago, the United Arab Emirates is surprisingly well-developed. Ultra-modern towers like Burj Khalifa line the skylines in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, beckoning digital nomads to witness its glimmering sights. Expats currently living there rave about the amenities, clean spaces, and variety of food cultures. The UAE's dedication to gender equality ensures that women lead in education and business as often as men do. In spite of these progressive values, harsh laws punishing same-sex activities make this a dangerous destination for LGBTQ+ people. Its heavy Muslim influences and arid climate may deter some who aren't used to such dynamics. Overall, the UAE offers a fast-paced lifestyle that favors the young and ambitious.
