Spain Is Hiring! See the Jobs and Apply

Spain holds a fascination for many American expats looking for a path to Europe. It’s for good reason, too; the country offers quality healthcare, safety, and infrastructure, which create a great place to raise a family. Their progressive values also make Spain a welcoming community for LGBTQ+ and other vulnerable groups. For many would-be expats, the challenge lies in finding a job to support themselves. Fortunately, a solution has just arrived.

In 2021, Spain announced the Plan to Boost the Audiovisual Sector, aimed at transforming the country into a leader for A/V production in the digital age. The government invested €1.6 billion through 2025 to hire skilled workers into audiovisual jobs across all regions. Employers involved in the initiative include Amazon Prime, Apple TV, Rakuten TV, Netflix, Electronic Arts, and many more.

  • Animation
  • VFX
  • Virtual reality
  • Augmented reality
  • Digital illustration
  • Video game development
  • 2D-3D art and animation

You can find their new A/V job portal in the link below; you may want to install Google Translate to process the Spanish text. To find out what other countries are hiring Americans, click on the Resources tab in Expatsi’s top menu and select Jobs.
