Famous TikTok Food Critic Finds the Best and Worst of Atlanta
TikTok restaurant reviewer Keith Lee had such a tumultuous week in Atlanta that even CNN featured the trip as front-page news.
If you’re not familiar with Keith, he anonymously orders food from restaurants, often from his home town Las Vegas. He tastes the food on video, usually in his car or from a tiny Paw Patrol chair in his home, and ranks everything on a scale from 1-10.
He’s beloved on TikTok and known for his honest but kind reviews, along with the blessings he bestows upon restaurants that provide good food or service, like massive tips for the staff, doubling the day’s sales for struggling owners, and reviews that turn quiet restaurants into hotspots with lines “out the door.”
In Atlanta, he ran into a number of challenges ordering food, including restaurants that wouldn’t take orders by phone or app, so he just couldn’t provide his usual blessings. Thankfully, he was able to find restaurants who were more accommodating. Here are all his reviews from Atlanta.

Keith talked about the “unique” rules here. His family wanted to order takeout, but they couldn’t sit or stand in the restaurant to order. For dine in, you could only place one order for the table — no later add ons. One add on he didn’t get: butter for his biscuit. It cost $1!
He said he was interested to see what the rest of the trip holds, and boy was he in for it!

Keith couldn’t eat the food from this restaurant because they don’t have food allergy practices, and Keith is allergic to shellfish. Instead, his wife and sister rated it.

There was DRAMA over this review. After Keith couldn’t get food, the owners clapped back on Instagram with a weird post they later deleted. Owners of a different restaurant called Milk & Honey asked Keith to clarify where he’d gone because of the negative calls they were receiving.
I just want to know — what’s the tea about why there are competing restaurants called Milk & Honey and The REAL Milk & Honey. Obviously, The Real Milk & Honey had to come second. There’s a story there.

This restaurant also didn’t allow call-in orders or DoorDash, but Keith’s family were able to order for him inside. Keith said this was the best brunch he’d had in Atlanta by far. Another bright spot was the service. The server took such good care of Keith’s family that he left him and the rest of the staff $2,000.

The restaurant kept the kitchen open past midnight so Keith and his family could pick up food after a long day at Six Flags over Georgia, even though they didn’t know he was the celebrity food reviewer. Keith rewarded her kindness by doubling her revenue for the day, paying the owner $2,674.

Again, Keith had a complicated experience just trying to order food. They weren’t able to order takeout by phone, online, or in the restaurant. When Keith was spotted, the restaurant tried to seat him immediately, but of course he wouldn’t accept special treatment. Too bad for Old Lady Gang.

There was no doubt that Keith’s take on Atlanta’s restaurant protocols shook up the city and the industry. The spotlight was already on the Atlanta food scene, which just received its first Michelin reviews, and tensions were high. Keith spoke out about people who want him to only leave positive reviews, and where that would lead.

Keith and his family have a tradition of buying ice cream for strangers in each town they’re touring. The ice cream truck owner said he was thankful for the business because he needed a new transmission. Keith tipped him $1,000.
